STEP 1

Understanding Phiro's Sequential Keys

Sequential Keys are arrow buttons that you tap to program Phiro robot to move Forward, Backward, and Turn Right or Left. You can create a Phiro character, make up a story, create a sequence of instructions with the Keys. Simple tap the keys, press play and watch Phiro come alive!

STEP 2

Programming Phiro with Sequential Keys

1. Turn on Phiro.

2. Press Mode button until the Green LED light glows on Sequential Key mode indicator

3. Make sure all previous programs are cleared

4. Press the Arrow Key

5. Press Play

Debug: Sometimes when you make Phiro do something and you see it doesn't do what you asked it to do, you can figure what the problem or bug is, and fix it. This is called Debugging. Use this key on Phiro to delete the buggy step.

Now, Let's try some example programs!

Example Program 1

Make Phiro move forward 3 times and backward 3 times.

1. Press Clear All

2. Press Forward 3X

3. Press Backward 3X

4. Press Play

Example Program 2

Make Phiro move forward, then turn right, backward, and turn left. Notice how Phiro turns.

1. Press Clear All

2. Press Forward

3. Press Right Turn

4. Press Backward

5. Press Left Turn

6. Press Play
